What We Stand For

Armstrong & Co Accountants was formed in 2001 by James Armstrong.

When James qualified he worked in an Accountants practice for 5 years.

He set up on his own in 2001 and has gone from strength to strength with the business becoming very successful and is always trying to improve the Accountancy business on all levels.

With over 18 years experience in his own practice, James has extensive knowledge of general practice issues and has assisted clients from a number of industrial sectors ranging from retail, farming, construction and property investment sectors. He has developed a wide knowledge of taxation including income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. He will ensure that not only are you compliant but you will also save tax. James has extensive experience in agricultural sector from a farming background. James' family are pedigree dairy farmers and he has been involved with farming since a young age. He enjoys hobby farming at the weekends. He has in fact lead the champion dairy cow which won the RUAS Balmoral Show in 1989..

He has a wide knowledge of all the farm suppliers and has vast experience of valuation of livestock. Both are necessary to ensure you minimise your tax liabilities.
